情態動詞：can，may，should，must，shall ， would 。它們所代表是一種情感和態度 ， 使用了它們，句子的語氣變得比較婉轉 。
在情態動詞后，動詞用原型 。
May I come in?
You shouldn't make noise here.

Would you like to come to my birthday party.
Can 和should 的用法 。
Can I...?No you can't. You should ... Now.

When is your birthday?
回答用：It's on .../ My birthday is on... (具體時間用介詞on，大概時間用介詞in)

一般過去時
表示過去某個時間發生的動作或存在的狀態，常和表示過去的時間狀語連用，如yesterday，last night，a moment ago，just now 。也表示過去經常或反復發生的動作，常和often ， always等表示頻率的時間狀語連用 。
一般過去時中，動詞要變成它所對應的過去式 。
. be動詞：am - was，is - was，are - were
. 行為動詞變化規律：一般情況下，直接在單詞后加 - ed
單詞是以e結尾的 ， 直接加 - d
以元音字母+輔音字母結尾的，雙寫輔音字母，再加 - ed
以輔音字母+y結尾的，去掉y，加 - ied
(在濁輔音和元音后讀/d/，lived，listened
在清輔音后讀/t/ ， liked，helped，watched
在/t/，/d/音后讀/id/，planted)
一些特殊情況，meet - met，see - saw ， go - went，do - did，has / have - had，take - took，等 。
